The origin and quality of gypsum is especially important. It’s derived from a state-of-the-art synthetic gypsum operation, which results in the production of high purity gypsum available for crop, turf, landscape, lawn, garden, and soil applications. Gypsum is a sulfate mineral composed of calcium sulfate dihydrate with the chemical formula CaSO4•2H2O, and it’s a source of calcium and sulfate sulfur nutrients.
